You cast by typing. Every word in The Sounding is a true name — sound what a thing is, and it will try. fire is a substance in your hands. fire ball is a thing you could throw. fire ball explode is a thing  that goes off. There is no spell list to memorize: name an element, shape it, tell it what to do, and the game answers.

Everything runs on one law — resonance. In-tune builds, out-of-tune breaks, and both are power. Neighbours on the ring amplify; opposites annihilate. A novice sounds noise; a master sounds music — and you can hear the difference.

   In this build:

   - 🌒 The Night — wake in the dark water, learn the words by needing them, and walk out the other side.

   - âš” Endless Duels — sound your workings against an adept that answers back; each one harder, until it takes you.

   - 🔨 The Forge — a sandbox with no fail state. Say anything and watch what it makes.

   - 🌦 Weather — a working that lingers writes the sky, and the sky feeds whoever casts with it.

Near-black, gold, and quiet — words, not pictures. This is a 7-day build and I'm updating it in public — real PvP, the campaign, and the deeper true-names are coming. Comments and data dumps welcome (press in-game); tell me where you got stuck.
